[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]JayElleCee and Company, a local balloon décor company will be taking part in a worldwide event to bring joy to people’s hearts and smiles to their faces, AGAIN! It was nice the balloon industry did it twice. And of course, we wanted to be apart of it.
Like many others, JayElleCee and Company has been severely affected by the current conditions. We went from a continuous stream of booked events to cancellations and no events for the foreseeable future. So, participating in something that would bring smiles and joy to world was a no-brainer. On Saturday, April 11 & Sunday, April 12, 2020, over eighteen hundred balloon artists from over 80 countries participated in “One Million Bubbles of Joy.”
When we decided to join the “One Million Bubbles of Joy” campaign, Jamie went to DC’s Butterfly Park in NE near her home to view the butterfly structure that once sat here. Her initial thought was to incorporate it in a design. She was shocked to find; it was no longer there. But then thought, to recreate it with balloons! The windy weather made it exceedingly difficult, so make on the spot provisions had to be made. Nonetheless, we did it! We received many honks & waves during the process. The display remained throughout the Easter weekend. We hope to bring 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒, 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄, & 𝐉𝐎𝐘 during this difficult time.
